Day Two

Tuesdays Prayer for our city

Jeremiah 30:18-20 I’ll compassionately come in and rebuild homes. The town will be rebuilt on its old foundations; the mansions will be splendid again. Thanksgivings will pour out of the windows; laughter will spill through the doors. Things will get better and better. Depression days are over. They’ll thrive, they’ll flourish. The days of contempt will be over. They’ll look forward to having children again, to being a community in which I take pride in.

We love our city. We love where it is positioned in this great nation. We love that it represents a diverse population. It is our home for so many. Yet people can relocate here and feel very disconnected. It can be difficult to settle here and prosper here as individuals, family or as business. It can be challenging to build a life here. We are praying the great minds, professors, innovators, businesses and leaders do not always relocate to Toronto. We claim them back for Montreal. Lets pray right now for our city.

  • Pray for our leadership
  • Pray for the economy to grow, for businesses to prosper, for locals to get jobs
  • Pray for families and friendships
  • Pray for our city to be known as a place to live and flourish
  • Pray for Christ-followers to rise up in places of real influence in government, entertainment, media, business and education.
