In four weeks exactly we ‘Do It Again’. We launch our second location. So tonight we invited our team to see something bigger than what they have experienced so far in our own church … we want to put them in at atmosphere charged with passion and excellence.
It’s important to share from early on, as we leave to visit our dear friend’s church, that what you are taking them to is SIX years on … but it’s still a taste of what’s to come.
We are pioneering in such a way where you are even training your team in atmosphere and ‘amens’ and the why behind the what! For some everything is new, for others they were just never apart of something grown from scratch. So we are taking a few road trips.
There is great resource for training you and your team on what you want your new endeavour to look and feel like. Many YouTube videos, online coaching, incredible free resources. However, as the leader of the launch, make sure you take the time to debrief on what they have seen and heard so that you can bring your own culture to it all. Comparison will always be the demise of your own culture. So teach your team instead of comparing, to sit in the environment and see it a complimentary to the culture you are building rather than supplementary.
Use language like ‘this would be complimentary to who we are and what we are building’. There is so much in the kingdom of God that is individual expression from the leader and culture of the House. I love this about the kingdom of God, the gorgeous diversity. So allow your team to experience the breadth and diversity. Then dream with them about what aspects of the culture you carry and what piece of heaven on earth that you will bring.
Ephesians 3:10 Through followers of Jesus like yourselves gathered in churches, this extraordinary plan of God is becoming known and talked about even among the angels!
